So this is how it all begins.

It's Tuesday, October 27th, I should be looking forward to going to college in a few days to learn all there is to learn about 3D Animation and see my friends etc. etc. but I'm not. I'm sitting on the couch wondering what crap I can do to fill the hours of the day where I'm stuck sitting in the house all day. Long story short, having to drop out of college sucks. I mean it really sucks. And to top it all off I've not been feeling all that great over the last couple of days. I'm hoping that all clears up and I'm feeling okay for going out on Friday so I can at least see my friends for a while and pretend I'm still normal.

But back to why I thought I'd start a blog. I need something to fill a little of my time and I thought that this would be a good way to do it. Any unlucky person who actually reads what I type, well you get to put up with my ranting about random things and my endless rambles about movies and TV shows that I watch...and trust me when I say I watch a lot of movies.

So, one thing that I'm definitely going to be doing everyday is giving a rundown of the movies I've watched. I feel obligated to tell everyone what I think of any film that I might have watched during the day. Bear(not sure if that's the way to spell it but it sounds the way I would say so it'll do) with me, it's a little ray of sunshine on my otherwise cloudy day :P

I've watched...umm 5 films today so far. Here's the basic breakdown of them.

1. G.I Joe
When I first saw the trailer for this film I didn't think it looked all that great, it didn't grab my interest like most films do. But I saw it today and I have to say I was impressed. The acting was good and the action scenes were excellent...most of the time. The plot was a little predictable and boring at times but it held my interest and a few of the characters were interesting enough to actually make me laugh a few times.
I'd give it a 7/10.

2. The Tournament
I'd never heard of this film before yesterday but I was intrigued by the title as to what the film might be so I thought I'd watch it anyways. The film has non stop action from start to finish and is quite gory at times. The plot is again predictable but is still enjoyable if you love films where it's non stop bloodshed from start to finish. A few of the characters kept me interested in the film, especially the priest who kept swearing.
I'd give it a 9/10.

3. Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
Not the kind of film I'd usually watch but I wanted something a little different from the rest of the films I watched today. It's the usual soppy romance. Boy met girl, boy screwed up, boy eventually gets girl. It's a similar plot thread to A Christmas Carol, but only in the fact that the guy is visited by three ghosts.
I'd give it a 5/10.

4. Surrogates
When I saw the trailer for this film I didn't really know what to expect from this film but it was good enough to capture my interest. The storyline is a little dull but the idea behind the film is interesting. There wasn't really anything special about this film in my opinion.
I'd give it a 4/10.

I'm watching Transformers Revenge of the Fallen just now so I'll let you know what I think of that tomorrow but I can tell you that right now I'm enjoying it. :)

I need to figure out something to say at the end of these things so it doesn't just randomly stop but I can't be bothered to figure out something just now so you're all just gonna have to deal with it.

:)
